Privacy policy

Short version: we do not ask you to create an account, we do not sell data, and the only personal information we ever hold is what you type into the contact form.

Who is responsible

TireStore24.com is published by Torbjorn Ahlberg. Questions about this policy or your data go through the contact page.

What we collect

Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider records the IP address, browser type, requested page and time of each request for security and troubleshooting. Logs are rotated automatically.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization to understand which pages are read and which searches are made. The data is aggregated and does not identify you. You can block it with any content or script blocker without losing any function on the site.

Outbound clicks. When you click a "shop" button we record the time, the retailer, the page you came from, your browser type and a shortened hash of your IP address, so we can see which pages are useful. The hash cannot be turned back into your address.

Contact form. Your name, e-mail address and message are sent to us by e-mail and kept only as long as needed to answer you.

Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to tell returning visitors from new ones; see Google's privacy documentation for details. Retailers you click through to set their own cookies under their own policies.

Third parties

Retailer sites you reach through our links are independent businesses with their own privacy policies and terms. We do not receive your name, address or payment details from them.

Your rights

Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and other states with privacy laws, as well as visitors from the EU and UK, can ask what we hold about them and have it deleted. Because we hold nothing beyond contact-form e-mails, that is normally a matter of deleting the e-mail thread. Write to us and we will confirm within 30 days.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We update this page when something changes. Last revised September 2026.
