Where do I find my tire size?
Open the driver's door and look at the white and yellow sticker on the door jamb. It lists the original size, for example 205/55R16, and the correct pressures. The same size is molded into the sidewall of the tires on the car now, unless a previous owner changed it.
Is it cheaper to buy tires online?
Usually yes. Online tire retailers run on lower overhead and show the brand rebates up front, so a set of four is often $50 to $150 cheaper than a walk-in price. You then pay a local shop $15 to $45 per tire to mount and balance, or have the tires shipped straight to an installer.
