Who owns it
Privately held as Priority Tire LLC. No parent company, investor or acquisition has been announced, and no owner is named on the company's own pages. The Better Business Bureau lists the business as having started on 12 July 2017, while Priority Tire's About page claims more than 20 years of experience in the U.S. replacement tire market.
What you can buy there
Priority Tire says it has more than 20 million tires available and leans heavily on value and budget brands. Cosmo, Fullway, Venom Power, Lexani and Kenda sit on the front page alongside Michelin, Continental, BFGoodrich, Yokohama and Hankook, and the cheap imports are what the site is known for rather than a side line. It sells accessories and runs a rebate page, but not wheels as a core category, and no used tires.
Shipping
Shipping is free on every order inside the 48 contiguous states with no minimum, from seven main warehouses in Allentown PA, Coppell TX, Jacksonville FL, Orlando FL, Naperville IL, Belmont NC and Rancho Cucamonga CA plus smaller satellite facilities. Orders placed before 1 p.m. Eastern ship the same day, and the company quotes 1 to 6 business days in transit depending on distance. It does not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada or PO boxes and requires a confirmed residential or business street address.
Installation
Priority Tire has no bays of its own and instead routes installation through an installer program it puts at more than 5,000 shops; once the appointment is confirmed it ships the tires straight to the shop. Installers set their own prices, and the sign-up form covers base mounting by tire diameter, run-flat and low-profile surcharges, TPMS service, valve stems, disposal, balancing and road hazard as separate line items. That means the installation total is negotiated with the shop and is not a single national rate, and a road hazard warranty is offered by the installer rather than by Priority Tire.
Returns and warranty
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 90 days of the delivery date, which is longer than most of the market, but the tires must never have been mounted on a rim or otherwise used. The buyer pays the return shipping, and Priority Tire states explicitly that it is not responsible for return shipping even on returns approved because of tire age. Returns are free only when Priority Tire shipped the wrong item, the carrier damaged it, or the company made a fulfillment error. Priority Tire provides no treadlife warranty of its own and only helps pass a manufacturer defect claim through to the maker.
Where they sit on price
This is one of the cheapest places in the United States to buy budget and mid-range tires, and free shipping with no minimum makes the delivered price hard to beat. A free membership gives early access to promotions 48 hours ahead of the public and member-only discounts, but no membership is needed to buy. The saving comes with a trade-off: no treadlife warranty from the retailer and no published guarantee on how fresh the DOT date will be.

- Partial shipments and wrong sizes turn up in reviews, including an order shipped with three of four tires without notice and a 215/35/18 delivered against a 235/50/18 order
- Fraud screening on orders delays some purchases by two to three business days, and reviewers describe long hold times, unanswered emails and no treadlife warranty from the retailer
