No parent company, investor or acquirer is named on the company's own about page, its LinkedIn profile or its BBB profile as of September 2026, and reporting about a buyer could not be confirmed, so any change of ownership is treated as unverified. The BBB profile lists the business as starting May 14, 2003 and names Felipe Martin as market president.
What you can buy there
Tires-easy lists over 200 tire brands, from mainstream names down to low-cost imports, and says it has sold more than 8 million tires since 2004. The range goes well beyond passenger cars into light truck, trailer, farm, construction and commercial truck sizes, which is unusual for a consumer tire site. Every tire is sold new; the company states that every tire it sells is brand new and unused, and it does not sell used tires or wheels.
Shipping
Shipping is free on most products, including every order sent to one of the partnered local installers; larger freight items can carry extra charges. Delivery is FedEx Ground only, typically two to three days in transit after one to two days of processing, with no overnight option. Tires-easy ships within the continental United States only, so Alaska and Hawaii are not served, and oversize tires moved by FedEx Freight to a home address carry a $100 surcharge on top of a non-refundable handling fee.
Installation
Tires-easy has no bays of its own. It ships free to a partner network the company puts at more than 1,900 installers, including Pep Boys, Monro and Tire Choice Auto Service Centers, with availability depending on the ZIP code and the tire selected. Installation is paid to the shop, not to Tires-easy, so mounting, balancing, valve stems, TPMS work, disposal and any road hazard coverage are priced and sold by the installer.
Returns and warranty
The return window is 45 days from delivery. Only unused tires that have not been mounted or driven on qualify, and Tires-easy supplies prepaid return labels at no charge to the buyer when the tires meet those conditions. Refunds are issued three to five business days after the tires reach the warehouse and pass inspection, but the handling fee on a direct-to-home order is not refunded. The return policy does not cover manufacturer warranty claims, which go through the tire maker or an authorized dealer.
